This is, for all intents and purposes, a brand new roof flap motor for the 939 series Spider; OEM number 71747615. These are repurposed VWAG units, with our WD sensing internals which have been custom-made to match the newer-style flap motors originally produced in 2020. Whilst the geartrain is used from the VWAG units, the positional sensing element of the motor has been custom-manufactured to align with the OEM sensors. With our sensors rated for over a hundred-thousand cycles, we think they’re fit-and-forget!

Installation

The original flap motor must be removed, and the new motor installed. Please note that we ship these out set at a half-point of the sensor internals.
